Little Moreton Hall is well worth a visit and you will spot this iconic Tudor Manor House in the distance as you drive down the A34 through the wonderful Cheshire countryside.

For 1000 acres of deer park and a 19th Century neo-classical mansion, head to Tatton Park in Knutsford where you will also find a rare breed pig farm and 50-acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.

Or visit the great industrial heritage site of Quarry Bank, where you will find out how the early industrial revolution changed the landscape of Cheshire forever.

If you fancy seeing where Mr Darcy jumped into the lake and showed his affections towards Miss Bennet, then Lyme Park is the place for you.  Located near Stockport, Lyme Park allows you to step back in time to the Regency Era as you wander the mansion that was once home to the Legh family.

A little further afield takes you to over the border in North Wales, and the Erddig estate which is situated above the winding Clywedog river.  Here you will find a Mansion House and pleasure park design by William Emes as a haven of peace and natural beauty.
